Artist, photographer, curator. Born in Moscow (1963). Graduated from the Nikolai Baumann Technical School in Moscow (1986). Organised exhibitions at the Adrian Gallery (1990–92). Worked for the exhibition department of the Russian Museum (1992–96). Organised the shows of the Mekva group, which continued the tradition of apartment exhibitions (1993–98). Returned to individual exhibition work and took up photography (1999). Lives and works in St Petersburg.
