Grand Duchess Margarita Petrovna was the seventh child and fifth daughter of Peter the Great and Catherine I. She was born in St Petersburg on 3 September 1714. Died in St Petersburg on 27 July 1715 and buried in the St Peter and St Paul Cathedral.
