Prince Felix Yussupov

Prince Felix Yussupov (1887–1967): Russian aristocrat. Son of Count Felix Sumarokov-Elston and Princess Zinaida Yussupova, cousin of tennis player Count Mikhail Sumarokov-Elston. Married Princess Irina Alexandrovna and participated in the murder of Grigory Rasputin. Emigrated from Russia after the revolution and lived in Paris.

Born in St Petersburg (1887) in the family of Count Felix Sumarokov-Elston and Princess Zinaida Yussupova. First cousin of Count Mikhail Sumarokov-Elston. Married Princess Irina Alexandrovna (1914), niece of Tsar Nicholas II and granddaughter of Tsar Alexander III. Participated in the murder of Grigory Rasputin at the Yussupov Palace (1916). Moved to the estate of Koreiz in the Crimea (1918) and emigrated with his family in the company of Dowager Empress Maria Fyodorovna on board HMS Marlborough (1919). Died in Paris and buried at the Russian cemetery in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (1967).
