Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Vasily Kharitonov in Moscow (1931). Did not receive a professional art education. Studied but did not graduate from the Moscow Municipal Children’s School of Art (after 1945). Self-taught artist. Interested in Old Russian and Christian culture. Mosaics and church embroidery were the sources of his Pointillism. Inspired by the world of fairytales and folklore. Died in Moscow (1993). Contributed to exhibitions in Russia (from 1958) and abroad (from 1967), including a one-man show at Moscow State University (1958), the shows at the Beekeeping Pavilion and House of Culture in the Exhibition of Economic Achievements (1975) and with the Municipal Committee of Graphic Artists on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street in Moscow (1976).
