Artist. Born in the family of Vladimir Yelagin in Moscow (1949). Studied at the Moscow Secondary School of Art (1962–67). Studied painting under Alisa Poret (1967–72) and worked at Ernst Neizvestny’s studio (1964–76). Illustrated Knowledge is Power magazine. Contributed to the Collective Actions group (1979–89). Author of numerous projects on her own and in collaboration with Igor Makarevich, including Closed Fish Exhibition at the MANI Museum, Lobnya/Moscow (1992), Closed Fish Exhibition and Other Installations at the Galerie Krings-Ernst in Cologne (1994) and Dynamic Pairs at the Marat Guelman Gallery in Moscow (2000). Member of the Union of Artists. Lives and works in Moscow.
