Born: 1970, Nueva Gerona (Cuba)

Cuban artist. Born in Nueva Gerona (1970). Graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana (1990). Fellow of the Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst, Aachen (1994). Awarded for his contribution to the Kwangju Biennale in Korea (1995). Awarded the UNESCO Prize for the Promotion of the Arts in Geneva. Trained at the Atelier Alexandre Calder in Saché, France (1999). Lives and works in Havana.
