Knucklebones

Knucklebones (babki) was a traditional game in Russia. The babki were made out of the lower joints of the leg bones of cattle, as was the bat used to knock them down, which was often cast inside from lead. The bones were arranged in a pyramid shape and then knocked down using the bat. The player who managed to knock the pyramid down with his first shot was awarded the highest number of points.
