Volière Pavilion
Light wooden building in the Lower Park of Peterhof designed by Nicola Michetti (1721–22). Faced with tuff and scallops. Consists of an octahedral hall, crowned with a cupola and lantern, and two rectangular branches. Large semi-circular windows with light glazing transform the building into an aviary. Original ornamental and decorative paintwork by Louis Caravaque survives inside.
