Vasily Denisov
Painter, graphic artist, theatrical designer, professional musician. Born in the family of Ivan Denisov in Zamo?? in Poland (1862). Attended Konstantin Korovin’s studio (1897–98) and studied under Konstantin Korovin and Valentin Serov at the Elizaveta Zvantseva School of Art in Moscow (1899–1901). Designed for theatres in Moscow and St Petersburg (from 1901). Died in Moscow or Sergiev Posad (1922). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1896).
