Photographer. Born in the family of Vladimir Khlebnikov in Novocherkassk (1897). Studied at the Boris Tchaikovsky School of Cinema in Moscow (1925), when he took up photography. Member of the Russian Photography Society (1926). Worked at the Institute of History of the Arts and the Museum of History. Worked in the Soviet fashion and advertising industry (from mid-1940s). Helped Varvara Stepanova to found the Soviet Woman magazine. Founder of the Innovator Photography Club.
